CaribDaily's mission is to organize the Caribbean's news and make it easily accessible to the global Caribbean Community.

This mission was driven by the recognition of following points:

1. The Caribbean community is become more integrated as technology and transportation shrink our world. This integration places new demands on the Caribbean media, as the community seeks information about not only their countries of origin, but about the wider Caribbean and our global diaspora.
2. The online search for Caribbean news is complicated by the growing number of sites, and the sheer volume of content.

To achieve the mission, caribDaily's founders created a new website for Caribbean news aggregation. At www.caribdaily.com, you'll find up to date Caribbean news conveniently classified by country, date, and news type. Much of the content originates from the traditional Caribbean news sources. At the same time, we recognize that the usual sources of Caribbean news are not the only relevant sources. As a result, we provide mechanisms to support sourcing news from non-traditional channels in addition to user submitted content.
