JamaicaJamaica's killer cops (Video Link) [read at YouTube]

This is a complex issue and there's more than enough blame to spread around. On the one hand, the Jamaican police force is spectacularly corrupt and is wont to abuse the very people they are supposed to protect. On the other hand a lot of those who die at the hands of police are crooks, criminals, thugs, or "community leaders" who deserve to get shot. They hypocritical parents, family members, and friends know these asses are gunmen and thieves but support them anyway. The minute they get killed by the police people start bawling how "they were good youth, they didn't hurt anybody, police brutality".

For instance, in that video people are outraged that cops on patrol killed two boys after one of them turned around with a gun in his hand. They admit, from one side of their mouths, that the boys did have the gun. However, from the other side of their mouths, they proclaim that the boys were good, innocent, upstanding members of society, and the gun wasn't even pointed in the general direction of police.

The society needs a general purging to flush both the dirty police system and the badman culture that it rubs up against.

This is in part due to the fact that the JCF is composed primarily of idiots. Most cops are people who were too stupid to even make it into teachers college (if you can imagine such a thing). After 6 months at Up Park Camp, they place guns in the hands of these barely literate morons and unleash them on an unsuspecting public. Now, you end up with a legion of underpaid, power-drunk fools. Abuses are an obvious consquence.

to get rid ofthese heartless thugs .when the police killed these thugs the parents

are saying oh he was a good boy and he have never done anything wrong but i

know its not true because they rule the streets and create havoc on peoples lives

they must suffer the consequences you kill people so you must expect to be killed

People keep talking about cops being corrupt and all that, it's  not something unique to the Jamaican police, its been around from ever since. It's in the us canada everywhere.Look how society and the people of these communities  are against the police, gunmen went on rampage in sea view gardens Kingston in April of 2009 killing two men, the people did not demonstate againts such brutal acts. The police went inside the community in responce to  that incident and  they were attact by a man they defended themselfes the man was shot and injured and the people block the road and talk about police brutality.why they didn't block the road when the gunmen killed two. WHERE THEY GUNMEN?

It hurts my heart to see my people killing each other when we're suppose to be on one side.  I think we need to do something. Yes we're always going to have killing because the politicians started this whole drama years ago and now they can't control it. But as a Jamaican, I love my country and my people. We are smart intelligent people and we need to tap into that. We need to channel all this energy somewhere else. It's up to us to take a different approach. There is no need fighting fire with fire. There are lots of things we can do. Of course we would need help from everyone who really want to make a differece. The children need to see a different lifestyle, another way of life other than the gun. It starts with them. Jamaica at this time needs love and encouragement, and I think I want to at least try to lend a hand. If I can help one person that person may go on to help two and so on. I'm willing to start the trend. Let me tell you this, if we can do something, people from all over and I am talking about Jamaicans who have money all over this world will star to help.  This can be a movement. And guess what we would be a part of it. If anyone who thinks this is a good idea, write back to me. Or even if you dissagree I would love to hear from you too.( I have a couple of ideas)
